The founder of Caorann is ecologist and Churchill Fellow Dr Linzi Seivwright.
From an Estate background, she is professionally qualified and highly experienced with over 20 years extensive practical experience of managing deer and a proven track record in managing and delivering deer-related projects, including industry standard Best Practice Guidance.
For the last 10 years, Linzi has been working in the public sector providing direct support to individual Deer Management Groups and landowners as well as advising on all aspects of the deer management planning process in line with Scottish Government policy. She continues to work in partnership with the Association of Deer Management Groups on projects to build capacity within the deer management sector.
Linzi also has extensive national and international experience in other areas of research and conservation including red grouse ecology, endangered species, animal welfare and the development of Wildlife Monitoring Guidance to support Community Conservation in Kenya.
